Frequently Asked Questions

If you find yourself asking people to repeat themselves, turning up the TV louder than others prefer, or struggling to follow conversations in noisy places, it may be time for a hearing evaluation. Our licensed providers can perform a comprehensive hearing test and help determine if hearing aids are right for you.

We fit and service a wide variety of hearing aids, including behind-the-ear (BTE), receiver-in-canal (RIC), in-the-ear (ITE), and completely-in-canal (CIC) devices. During your hearing consultation, we’ll recommend the best style and technology level based on your hearing needs and lifestyle.

With proper care, most hearing aids last about 4–6 years. Many patients upgrade sooner to take advantage of the latest technology and features.

A typical hearing evaluation lasts 30–60 minutes and includes a review of your medical history, ear examination, and audiometric testing.

Yes! We provide in-office repairs, cleanings, and programming adjustments. Many issues can be fixed the same day.

Coverage varies by plan. Some insurance providers and Medicare Advantage plans offer partial or full benefits for hearing aids. Our team will gladly check your benefits and explain your options.

We recommend a daily wipe-down at home and professional cleaning every 3–6 months to keep your devices in top condition.

Yes. Most hearing aids are moisture-resistant and designed to handle daily activities, including light exercise. For swimming or heavy sweating, we recommend removing them to prevent damage. For more information, ask your provider about the best water-resistant technology on the market today!
